メカデザインやってる人は、「蒼穹のファフナー」ってアニメでもワケの分からんメカを一杯デザインしてましたので、
あの人がデザインの機体という事を考慮するならアリかなと思いました。
２号機の浪川大輔機は配色がダサいですが・・・

作中でも"御大将！”って呼ばれるシーンがありましたしね。
オーバーデビルが出る前あたりの逝っちゃった笑い方は流石です。
出てきた時はスゴイ敵役だったのに、後半はかなりお笑いになってましたね。
