僕のハンドル元ネタ、ホルテン兄弟に関する動画です。
第二次世界大戦中、全翼機（垂直尾翼やボディと翼の境界がない飛行機、揚力の効率が最大になるが、姿勢の制御が難しい）の実用化に情熱を燃やした技術者さん。
結局実用的全翼機は２０世紀終盤まで現れませんでしたし、未だ一般的ではありません。
戦後米軍が接収した資料を基に、全翼爆撃機を開発しますがコンピューターが未発達な当時では制御が難しく、実験的な機体にとどまりました。
なんとこの動画では、元祖ホルテン兄弟が製造したHo２９９の実際飛んでいる画像が拝めるのです（超レアですよ）
とても美しい飛行機なので、あんましメカに興味のない人もみるだけ見て～
これが６０年前のものとは信じられないですよ。
