I have been sorting a collection of song demos for a family archive. The collection includes generated tracks with filenames that reveal very little. I would like the source recording to remain recognizable after the folders are tidied. I plan to store test edits separately and explain what was attempted. Would you include the processing date in the filename or keep it in a text record? One phrase that appears in my background reading is ai audio artifact removal in this context. I would avoid using that label as a promise that every flaw has disappeared. A description of the affected passage and the chosen settings seems clearer. The archive will include a short explanation of where each demo came from, who supplied it, and whether the copy was exported again or changed after the original file was received. Suggestions for a practical version record would help me finish this archive.
