BSで録画した「アヴァロン」を見ましたという話

お盆あたり、BSで押井守特集があったので姉上に録画を頼んでいたのですが、先日時間があったのでビデオを消化。
で、前からタイトルぐらいは聞いたことのあった「アヴァロン」をようやっと見ました。
（テーマ音楽は割りとあちこちでよく聞きますな）
結構面白かったというか、これ、わしら世代には特に何か感じるものがある映画だと思いますわ。
ストーリーはわりと単純で、人によっては内容が薄く感じるようなとこもあるかもしれませんが、なんとなーくリアリティが薄いあたりがリアルというか、常々感じている｢満ち足りた生活の中の虚無感」みたいな部分が非常に切実に感じられました。
映画の中で現実とされている社会は、どうやらあんまり働かなくても必要最小限の生活は保障されてるみたいです（この辺今の日本と一緒）
非合法ゲーム「アヴァロン」はレヴェルがあがると賞金が出るようで、その賞金で多少贅沢はできるみたい。
映画内のセリフで「本物の肉、野菜、酒、タバコ、禁じられた知識はソロプレイヤーの特権」みたいな表現が出てきますし、現金を払ってちゃんとした食事（配給のは変なオートミールみたいなものだけど、現金を支払えばハムエッグとかの定食が食べられるようで）をとったりできます。
もの凄い贅沢じゃないけど、たまにご馳走、たまに酒、って日本の労働者階級と同じやんW
命を失うわけじゃないけど、結構過酷で過激なゲーム、「アヴァロン」で稼いでささやかな収入を得るって、要はお仕事？
まぁ「アヴァロン」てゲームでは廃人になっちゃうリスクがあるみたいだけど、普通のお仕事だって精神病んだり、労働災害でいっちゃったりってのはあるし。
この映画はポーランドの俳優さんがポーランド語でしゃべって、ポーランドの風景の中、もの凄く色彩の少ない灰色の世界で演技してるんで、映像自体はもの凄く日本の現実とはかけ離れているんですが、どうも端々から妙なリアリティが感じられるんですよねぇ。
妙なリアリティっていえば、主人公のアッシュ姉さんが料理するシーンがあるんですが、全体的にモノトーンの映画なのに、そのシーンの食材、キャベツとかジャガイモはうっすら色がついてて、アッシュ姉さんも穏やかな感じなんですよね。
いつもはなんかツンケン無表情でけだるげにタバコ吸ってるのに。
ささやかな幸せ？みたいな感じでここにもなんだか共感。
で、このゲームには一つの噂があって、ステージ：スペシャルAってのがあるらしい。
そこは危なくなってもリセットで逃げられない代わり、莫大な経験、報酬が約束されているとか。
上級クラスのプレイヤーはみんなそこを目指してるようです。
キャリアアップ？でっかい仕事？結構現状を怠惰に生きているワシだって、多少の野心ぐらいは燻ってますから、そういうチャンスに手が届きそうになったら多少やる気になるでしょうW
何より、更なる刺激、緊急避難のリセット不可、プレイ時間無制限、結果得られるのは莫大な報酬、灰色の現実、灰色の生活に”何か”変化がありそうじゃないですか。
お調子者の登場人物スタナーはその辺に惹かれて、スペシャルAを目指している感じ。
廃人になった元リーダー、マーフィーは普通のプレイでもリセットを禁じていたから、刺激に飢えていたのかな？？
主人公のアッシュ姉さんはちょっと動機が違うみたいだけど。
最終的に、アッシュ姉さんはスペシャルAに行き、スタナーは失敗（ゲーム内では死亡だけど、本当に死ぬわけじゃないでしょう）まぁ成功にはリスクが伴いますから、そういう挫折はあるもんです。
で、スペシャルAとは正式名称が、フィールド：リアル。
始まってみると、現代のアメリカの都市が鮮やかな色彩で映し出されるわけですよ。
まぁ相当ワシら見てる側にとってのリアルに近い世界ですね。
NPCも自立した思考で行動するらしいんで、ほぼいわゆる現実まんま。
アッシュ姉さんたちにとってはまぶしい楽園でしょうけど。
この世界でゲームするんですが、どうも廃人になった連中は灰色の現実に戻るより、コノフィールド：リアルの住人になっちゃおうと決めた連中みたいです。
お話の結末は割愛しますが必死に目指したスペシャルAが、見てるほうにとっては普通の現実ってのがなんだかねじれた感じです。
通常のゲーム世界「アヴァロン」の方が刺激的なんですよねぇ。
最後にマーフィーが「リアルはおまえ自身が決めるんだ」みたいなことをいうんですが、諦観入った人間にすれば、灰色の映画内現実もリアルだし、フィールド：リアルの明るくて物にあふれた世界をリアルとすることも、常に戦い続ける「アヴァロン」のゲーム世界をリアルとすることもできるわけですよねぇ。
自分にとってのリアル、生きる場所ってしっかりしてるようで思い込み次第でいかようにも変わる、なんだかふわふわした終わり方。
このセリフを、明るい活劇風の映画で言われたら人生のエールのようにも聞こえるでしょうが、残念ながら「アヴァロン」の世界は灰色の現実と、戦場のゲーム世界、作られた物質社会しか出てこないので、非常に虚無的に響きます。
ところが、エールとして聞かされるより、こっちの方がなんだかしっくりくるというか、共感が持てる。
心が荒んでるんでしょうかW
しかし、それがリアルであり、そんな感性が選択し、になっていくのが今なんですよねぇ。
この映画、あんまし共感できたりする人間が多くないほうが、社会としては健全なんじゃないかなWWW
映像は素晴らしいです。
メカカッコイイ！！！ラスボスの”ツィタデレ（城塞の意）”もすごいし、ハインドとか、ポーランド軍の戦車とか、往年カッコイイ東側兵器もデジタル補正でバンバンでます。
俳優さんはみんなポーランドで有名な人たちばっかりらしく、演技がしっかりしてるのに日本人にはなじみが無いので、非常に良いです。非現実感が増します。
日本人使ってたら生々しくて、この非現実的な中の妙なリアリティは出なかったでしょうな。
あと、ワシら世代には他の世代にはぜーったい味わえない楽しみがもう一つ。
映画内ゲーム「アヴァロン」は現代戦物なんですが、クラスがファイター（通常の兵士、接近戦、狙撃何でもこなす）、シーフ（情報収集、危険物処理）、メイジ（重火器を装備し後方支援）ビショップ（情報分析が得意みたいですが、高位ビショップはソロで相当強い＋経験値がファイターの倍かかる）なんですよW衛生兵のプリーストもいるんじゃ？？W
更に、キャラクターの名前アッシュ（灰）、スタナー（麻痺罠）に、マカニト、バディ、ジルワン。
アッシュ姉さんのセリフ「パーティーを招集してちょうだい。私を含めて腕の良い戦士3名、優秀なメイジ、シーフも必要よ」（これに召集を依頼されたクラス：ビショップが入る）
廃人になることをロストという。
はい、おわかりですねぇーウィザードリィですよW
押井監督よくこのネタ使いますからね～
そのまんまファンタジーなゲーム設定でも良かったりW（ラスボス：ツィタデレはフラックか？？）
あ、でもそうすると作品全体の妙なリアリティの連続性がなくなっちゃうか。
これ、なかなか良い映画でした。
ただし、この映画にふかーく共感できるような子を増やしちゃダメですよ。
虚無的な色彩が非常に濃い映画ですから（僕はその辺が気に入ってるんですがねW)
